With David Johnson seemingly on the road to recovery Town's only worry for the Fulham game is Mark Venus. The former Wolves centre-half injured his ankle during training last week but has had an injection to speed his recovery. Fight News

An ITFC steward tried to intervene and received a thump for his troubles. The police then became involved and questioned all participants, but no arrests or charges were made. The steward didn't want to bring charges against the Albion players.

Town 1-0 Stockport

Town repeated last year's scoreline over the First Division's surprise package in a very well attended Holiday game. A James Scowcroft goal on 34 was enough to beat the Cheshire side, however it should have been much, much more confortable.

Fulham 0-0 Town

A rather boring Boxing Day lunchtime saw a bore draw of the most tedious kind. Chances were few and far between, although Town probably had the best of it over all.
